About Mrs. Dydell-Pierce
My name is Nekeida Dydell-Pierce.
I graduated from Texas State University, with Bachelors in Applied Arts and Sciences(Psychology and Sociology), and a Masters in Interdisciplinary Studies (MSIS-strong emphasis in Psychology, Counseling, & Career & Technology).
I am a daughter, sister, wife, mother, and teacher. I married my high school sweetheart and together we have two amazing sons.
I love dancing, singing, and last but not least I love spending time with my family and friends. I am a total music lover, and I listen to mostly everything from Bluegrass to Hip-Hop and everything in-between. My ultimate favorite genres would be R&B, Gospel, and Oldie Goldie’s (both Motown & Country Hits).
Before joining the NYOS Team, I worked at Hendrickson High School (in Pflugerville) where I was a vital part of the transition and vocational program.
My students are the best part of my job. I enjoy helping them find the best within and aiding them in identifying their talents and creativity. My students discover that success comes with patience, effort and perseverance.
I look forward to a GREAT year and am so excited about then dual credit course that we will be added to our CTE sequence this school year.
