Dear NYOS Community,

Texas Governor Greg Abbott extended the temporary closure of all schools, including NYOS, to in-person attendance until May 4, 2020. As we planned, NYOS will start its at home learning program on April 6th. We will continue at home learning until at least May 4th, per the Governor's order.

On Monday, we happily welcomed back NYOS teachers and staff. It was good to see everyone, even if just through Google Hangouts and Zoom! We spent Monday and Tuesday working together on at home learning plans for all students. That work will continue throughout this week. Don't be surprised if you or your students hear from teachers this week, testing technology use, sharing expectations, and saying hello.

Please check out NYOS resources online for Elementary and Secondary programs.

Thanks for your support and patience through this ever-changing information. We appreciate you and we miss you.

Take care,
