Student Attendance

If your student misses instruction, we ask that you add an absence request to indicate a day or range of days your student will not be in school.
 
If you believe that your student's attendance record is incorrect, we ask that you add an absence request for that day or range of days. Select INQ for Parent Inquiry/Correction. Please provide an explanation in the comments selection and upload supporting document (if applicable).
 
You will add absence requests in Skyward for your child via Family Access instead of being required to call or email the school to enter an absence request on your behalf. Here's how:
 
2. Select the Attendance Tile

3. Click Absence Request

4. On the right side of the screen click the green plus "Add Absence Request" button

5. Enter the date(s) of the absence(s)

6. Check the "All Day" box if your student was absent for the full day or...

7. Enter the Start and End time that your student was absent

8. Select the reason for the absence

9. Enter a comment providing details

10. Click "Add Attachments" and upload excuse notes (ie doctor's note)  

11. Check the box to copy this absence request for an additional student(s) if applicable 

12. Click Save

You will be able to track the status of all submitted requests. Once the Business Services Office reviews and approves the absence request; the status will change from "Pending" to "Processed" and your student's attendance record will be changed.
