hi students you are watching the video for the week of Monday September 7th no school on Monday hope you had a great your day and got to spend time with family and didn't do too much homework but some homework this week you are focused on chapter 5 Section 3 which is the last sec that will cover in chapter 5 and this is focused on the French and Indian War which I kind of mentioned earlier is not that exciting there's plenty talked about in class that exciting but the focus again for this is the French and Indian War it's kind of a misleading name it's not in the front in the Indian it's an Indians it's after the French and the Indians on one side against the British and the colonists but will get in as you read here's your vocabulary have five words and then you have six questions for your guided notes you also have an independent assign which is probably going to be one of your more challenging ones especially if you say the following words I can't draw which you Thursday my class you always try your best you always give it your best effort and to be quite honest it takes a lot of practice to get as good as I am I'm the teacher your math is the first map is the 1754 map of who claimed the northern American territory and you have to break that down by French Spanish British Russian and disputed and unclaimed and that's before the Civil sorry before the start of the French and Indian war after the French and Indian War this all changes and you see that French basically lost all the land so obviously tells you who won and then who got more land of British tells you who won and really having these maps in your spiral side by side that you can see them really help you kind of understanding importance and the purpose of the French and Indian War so make sure you get that done this week if you really truly truly struggle you need to speak to your teacher and see what we can be available to you but you really should give it a try and get you going for this week or just question question on the first one is have you ever had a fight with friends  I'm sure you all have had fights now remember that fight and think to yourself did you ask any of your friends to choose sides  as in life well you know stones and I are mad at each other and you got to pick a side who are going to be friends with why did you do that if you did or if you didn't why didn't you do that why didn't you put someone in the middle of something my next question when I ask you this why do you think these quote-unquote alliances or sing on someone side why do you think they're important or are they important if you're just kind of the person is like no I don't put anybody in the middle why don't you why don't you see having someone on your side as an alliance as a benefit  another question is of direct content which is why did the British government's actions after the French and Indian War anger the colonists so really again key Point here is not you don't need to know every battle in every step of the French and Indian War you just need to know basically what caused it what was the results and after effects of it there's something in particular that happens with this blue line this blue line really upset and really changes the course for the next year's I mean it it changes how we are in America today reason why we are America and not England's land assistance from your teacher your friends and I will see you very soon I promise we're getting close to the end of the first quarter
