TAFE 2023 Area
TAFE@NYOS secured a remarkable 26 competitive state advancements, earning the opportunity to attend and compete at the 40th Annual Texas Teach Tomorrow Summit in February/March. Our goal is to continue this streak at the state level and proceed to nationals.
Our TAFE chapter competed well in the area, state, and national competitions for the 2022-2023 school year.
We are happy to report that our TAFE student competitors did exceptionally well at the recent National Conference and Competition in Orlando, bringing home 1st and 3rd place national medals. The full TAFE team's hard work and dedication paid off! Witnessing their support for one another, as well as their opportunities to network and bond with other students from across the country, was one of the most rewarding aspects of the trip. We have high hopes for TAFE and its national affiliate, Educators Rising! Cheers to another fantastic year of learning, growing, networking, and serving our students!
We would like to thank everyone who assisted them in reaching their goals and competing at nationals during the 2023–2024 school year.

Our TAFE Chapter did very well Saturday at the area conference, earning 22 competitive state advancements to attend and compete at the 39th Annual Texas Teach Tomorrow Summit this March. Many of their competitions are aligned with scholarships at the state and national levels. TAFE is one of the nine Career and Technical Student Organizations (CTSO) recognized by the Texas Education Agency and sponsored by the Texas Association of Secondary School Principals and is governed by a board of directors comprised of teachers, students, and principals. Thank you to all who may have supported them in one way or another. State here we come!!!
I am so proud of each TAFE member and their hard work and dedication from the regional level to the national level.
