The Minecraft Club, now  five years old, meets once per week throughout the year. Only sixth and seventh graders are eligible, and membership is limited to 20 players. All players must have their own personal PC account, and must pay a $10 fee to maintain our server. No prior experience is necessary.

There is a lot more to our club than just playing the game. We have developed a town with a constitution, a government, a banking system, a sparring arena, and more. We use game play to learn how to solve problems as a team. We use math to build complex systems. We are even learning basic programming with command blocks.  Our server is available for students to play on throughout the week, so much of what is developed in our world, fondly called Giant Hole in the Ground, is done outside of club time.
