We know that at-home learning can lead to many logistical changes for our students, including how they receive grades.
Because of this, spring semester report card grades for all NYOS Secondary students (6th-12th grade) will appear as either a “P” or “I.” A grade of “P” indicates that the student has demonstrated proficiency and is therefore awarded the credit for the spring semester of the course. A grade of “I” denotes that the grade is incomplete. A student cannot earn credit for any course with a grade of an “I.” Teachers will use 3rd quarter grades and completed At-Home Learning activities to assign a “P” or an “I.”
