We contract with a security company and have 2 armed security guards roaming the campus at all times. We also have security cameras, security gates surrounding the school and a badge entry system for added protection.

NYOS students must follow dress code / uniform standard. Check out our Dress Code / Uniform page for more information.

Spanish is taught to all Elementary students as an enrichment class once a week not an academics class. Secondary students can take Spanish, American Sign Language, or Computer Science as a language elective.

Elementary and Middle School students have PE class 2-3 times per week (rotated). High School students can choose PE during the course selection process.
