NYOS Charter School—Not Your Ordinary School—is a free, public charter school that was founded in 1998 by a group of parents who wanted more out of education for their children. It is through a commitment to our students, our staff and our academic excellence that we have been able to grow to serving more than 1,000 students in PreK through 12th grade.

As a tuition-free, public charter school, NYOS receives about $700 less per student in government funding compared to traditional public schools. NYOS Charter School's academic results are substantially higher than those of surrounding schools, and as a charter school, we rely on the support of our school community to continue our commitment of academic success.

NYOS Charter School PTA End of School Celebration & Meeting

What: NYOS Charter School PTA End of School Celebration & Meeting
When: 5/19/2016, 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Where: Kramer Campus Playground

The NYOS Charter School PTA will be holding an End of School celebration and meeting on Thursday May 19th at 6:00 PM at the Kramer Campus playground. The PTA will provide dinner for our families as a thank you for all of their volunteer efforts this year, information as to what will be served will be forthcoming.

This meeting is important as we have several items to vote on for next year! All of the money raised from the Not Your Ordinary Run needs to be assigned to programs for our students, staff, and families by a vote of our membership so please take part in this exciting celebration with us!
