Follow these simple steps to find out if your gift can go even further.

How to Check if Your Employer Matches Gifts

1. Ask Your Employer or HR Department

• Contact your company’s Human Resources, Payroll, or Corporate Giving department.

• Ask if they have a matching gift program for charitable donations or volunteer hours.

2. Search Their Matching Portal

• Many companies use online platforms like Benevity, YourCause, CyberGrants, or FrontStream.

• Log in to your employer’s giving portal and search for:

3. Submit Your Matching Request

• If NYOS is listed, simply follow your employer’s instructions to submit your matching request.

• If NYOS is not listed, select “Add a New Nonprofit” and enter our information:

4. Report Volunteer Hours (if eligible)

• Some employers match volunteer time with a monetary donation!

• Once you’ve submitted your match, your employer will verify the donation and send NYOS the matching gift directly.
