Champion Program & Annual Days of Giving

The Champion Program is NYOS Charter School’s annual fundraising campaign. Donations to this campaign sustain our school’s commitment to valuable programming and increased resources for our students and teachers.

In addition to our Champion Program, NYOS also participates in two annual days of giving each school year, Giving Tuesday and Amplify Austin:

Giving Tuesday:
Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday, Giving Tuesday encourages a day of charitable giving and philanthropy. The following donations have been raised for NYOS during Giving Tuesday:

2017: Over $3,900 for general school resources
2018: Over $7,700 for student Chromebooks
2019: Over $24,000 for student STEAM materials
2020: Over $24,000 to support our new campus facility
2021: Over $30,000 to support our new campus facility

For families who prefer to donate to a specific need that is highlighted within our school's Champion Program, a donation made during Giving Tuesday is the perfect opportunity!

Amplify Austin:
Amplify Austin is a local day of giving that cultivates the power of philanthropy. Since Amplify Austin began in 2013, $45 million has been raised to support hundreds of local nonprofits. The following donations have been raised for NYOS during Amplify Austin:

2019: Over $16,000 for student Chromebooks
2020: Over $31,000 to support our new campus facility
2021: Over $37,000 to support our new campus facility
2022: Over $38,000 to support our new campus facility
