- Small class sizes, NYOS classes are capped at 20 students.
- Seven hours of teacher-controlled time per week- almost a full day equivalent.
- Two-year loops; students keep the same teacher for two years.
- A year-round schedule sets a better pace for learning and makes the school year sustainable for staff.
