At NYOS Charter School, the safety and well-being of our students, staff, and visitors are our top priorities. We are committed to providing a secure and welcoming environment where every student can learn and thrive.

Our safety measures include controlled campus access, emergency preparedness drills, regular staff training, and close collaboration with local law enforcement and emergency response teams. Campuses are equipped with secure entry systems, surveillance cameras, and clearly defined emergency procedures.

Safety also means belonging. NYOS fosters a culture of care, respect, and inclusion so students feel supported socially and emotionally. Through proactive communication, transparent policies, and community partnerships, we work together to maintain a safe, responsive school environment.
