Special Days @ NYOS

At NYOS Charter School, learning extends beyond the classroom through a variety of special events and enrichment opportunities held throughout the year. From capturing memories on Picture Day to participating in Not Your Ordinary Friday (NYOF), these experiences help build community, celebrate student achievements, and provide meaningful real-world learning opportunities.

NYOF, held at the end of each quarter, gives students the chance to explore valuable life skills and unique interests through hands-on workshops led by parent and community volunteers. Topics may include financial literacy, cooking, arts and crafts, career exploration, technology, health and wellness, and other practical skills that help prepare students for success beyond school.
