Dual Credit Opportunities
Students beginning 10th grade at NYOS are eligible to complete up to 12 dual credit courses through Austin Community College (ACC). Dual credit allows students to earn high school and college credit simultaneously, offering a preview of college in a structured and supportive environment while reducing future college costs.
Students who successfully complete all 12 courses may graduate from high school with up to 36 hours of college credit.
Once an official ACC transcript is submitted, completed pre-approved dual credit courses are applied to the student’s NYOS high school transcript.
