NYOS staff and families can find the following action plan resources, which can be completed by a parent/guardian and turned in to one of our campus nurses.
Wellness Policy
NYOS Charter School utilizes the Texas Department of Agriculture’s Local Wellness Policy Checklist and the National Association for Sport and Physical Education’s Coordinated School Health Checklist as an annual self-evaluation tool. NYOS is in compliance with all Local Wellness Policy requirements and is demonstrating best practices aligned with model local school wellness policies.
