The College and Career and Military Preparation (CCMP) Division of TEA is seeking parent input during an upcoming informational meeting!
TEA is conducting a statewide tour to inform the development of a new state plan required for the Strengthening Career & Technical Education for the 21st Century Act (Perkins V) and the development of statewide frameworks for STEM education and Work-based Learning (WBL). Info and feedback will be gathered from stakeholders across the state on the major components of Perkins V, as well as current challenges and areas of success around implementing and expanding high-quality STEM and Work-based Learning to all students in Texas.
NYOS Parents can attend a meeting on Thursday, April 25th from 6:30 to 7:30pm at the Regional Education Service Center (5701 Springdale Rd) to share what you'd like to see in Work-based Learning and STEM education for your children. For more information view the attached flyers.
