NYOS Charter School—Not Your Ordinary School—is a free, public charter school that was founded in 1998 by a group of parents who wanted more out of education for their children. It is through a commitment to our students, our staff and our academic excellence that we have been able to grow to serving more than 1,000 students in PreK through 12th grade.

As a tuition-free, public charter school, NYOS receives about $700 less per student in government funding compared to traditional public schools. NYOS Charter School's academic results are substantially higher than those of surrounding schools, and as a charter school, we rely on the support of our school community to continue our commitment of academic success.

Immediately following this year's graduation ceremony, NYOS Seniors will have the opportunity to attend Project Graduation, an overnight event filled with activities, food, and fun!

To help raise funds for Project Graduation, stop by Blue Baker (10000 Research Blvd, Austin, TX 78759) on Thursday, February 22nd between 6:00 to 9:00 PM. 10% of sales from your food purchase will go back to NYOS.

While at Blue Baker, you'll also have the opportunity to learn more about this year's Project Graduation! ALL NYOS families and friends are welcome!
