As we begin preparations to transition to a new campus facility for the 2021-2022 school year, your donations will support our school's growth! Funding needs for the 2020-2021 school year are the following:
Help us raise funds to purchase a second school bus! Currently, NYOS Charter School operates only one school bus among more than 1,000 students. Our bus is used to transport students between our two campuses, to study trips, to athletics games, to extracurricular competitions, to overnight trips and more.
As a result, there are many days in which our bus is not able to meet all of these needs, requiring NYOS parents to make last minute accommodations to pick-up their students. NYOS hopes to add a second school bus to our fleet, providing our school community with more flexibility in regards to participating in school-wide activities without sacrificing family time and student opportunities.
During the 2020-2021 school year, any donations that NYOS receives to our Champion Program - including general corporate matching donations and AmazonSmile donations - will directly support funding for a second bus for our students. Go here to donate to our Champion Program today!
During Amplify Austin 2020, thanks to YOUR support, we raised more than $31,000 for our school's new campus facility. This amount was also matched 4:1 by a local foundation, creating an overall donation of more than $155,000!
We're now less than a year away from our new campus facility being built! Many external partners, financial partners, our School Board and administrative team have all spent countless hours to keep the costs for this project reasonable while being equally focused on the quality of our new campus and preserving what is important about NYOS. In addition to the support of these crucial partners and individuals, we still need the support of our entire school community to help make this dream a reality for our students!
During the 2020-2021 school year, any donations that NYOS receives during Giving Tuesday 2020 and Amplify Austin 2021 will continue to directly support our need for a new campus facility.
