Paso Adelante Mentoring Program
Paso Adelante is dedicated to providing caring and consistent adult mentors to students in need of guidance. In fostering these positive relationships, Paso Adelante believes that students will become more confident and improve academically and socially. Our long-term goal is that our youth develop the self-awareness to envision positive futures for themselves and their communities.
Research has shown that youth who receive support and guidance from a caring adult will show measurable improvement in academic achievement, higher levels of school attendance, and a reduction in discipline referrals. Mentored youth are more likely to stay in school and graduate and develop positive interpersonal relationships.
