After School Child Care

Pre-K
There is no after school child care for students enrolled in our pre-k program.

Kindergarten - 3rd Grade
NYOS offers two programs for students in Kindergarten through 3rd grade. (YMCA or 21st Century)

4th - 5th Grade
NYOS offers one program for students in 4th and 5th grade.(YMCA)

The YMCA offers a child care program after school from 3:30 until 6:30 Monday-Thursday and on Fridays from 12:30-6:00.  This is a fee-based program for child care.  A sliding scale fee is available for families that need assistance.  You will need to register directly with the YMCA for services.  The YMCA program will only be held at the Lamar campus.  Students will be bused daily from the Magnolia campus to Lamar.  Families that wish to be enrolled in the YMCA will need to pick their children up at the Lamar campus each day.  The YMCA does not provide “as needed” childcare.  Registration is monthly.

YMCA of Austin

This grant is campus specific.  In short, only students that attend the Magnolia campus can participate in the grant.  The program requires regular attendance and participation in the academic programming.  It is not a drop in or as needed childcare program.
