NYOS News June 2008	Principal's Philosophy Schools must be organized for the purpose of educating young people for a satisfying and productive life full of opportunity and choice. The challenge of NYOS is to recognize the unique qualities of each student and to provide for each a structure and guideline for reaching current and future success. No student’s potential should ever be limited, but instead forever expanded. As a total community of stakeholders, we must support and expect excellence in all endeavors. Students should be able to demonstrate excellence in a variety of venues, including oral presentation, written reflection, and artistic representation.
